Our mission

Worship, learning, and belonging — in one place

“To serve as a place of worship, spiritual guidance, community support, and interfaith dialogue, promoting the values of compassion, justice, peace, and unity in society.”

ICA began in August 2018 with a handful of Muslim families who had moved to Aubrey and were looking for somewhere to gather and pray. Friday prayers were held in each other’s homes until the community outgrew them. Today the center hosts daily prayers, Jumu’ah khutbahs, Taraweeh, Eid salah, weekly classes for children and adults, and service programs open to the whole city.

A place for you

  • Worship — prayers as a way to connect with your faith
  • Spiritual guidance — deepen your understanding of Islam
  • Community support — counseling and food assistance
  • Learning — classes, lectures, and study circles

Jumu’ah

Two khutbahs, every Friday

Friday prayers are offered at two different timings to accommodate the community. Please leave promptly after the first khutbah so that parking clears for those arriving for the second.

Serving the wider city

Social services for everyone

Our volunteers support individuals and families in need — regardless of religion — through food distribution, financial assistance, and resource referrals.

Over the years the community has run food drives for the needy, toy drives for the Children’s Medical Center, clothing collections, and many other charitable efforts.
